  • Personalizing your experience — tailoring platform content, campaign recommendations, and communications based on your preferences and usage history.
  • Marketing and communications — sending you platform updates, promotional offers, and educational content. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
  • Analytics and product development — understanding how users interact with the platform so we can build better tools for artists and labels.
  • Legal and security purposes — detecting fraud, enforcing our Terms of Service, complying with applicable law, and protecting the rights of Fans Plug and its users.

We will not use your Personal Data for purposes materially different from those listed above without giving you prior notice.

How We Share Your Data

Service Providers

We share data with third parties who help us operate the platform — including hosting providers, payment processors, customer support tools, and email delivery services. These parties are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.

Advertising & Campaign Partners

To execute YouTube, Facebook, and Spotify ad campaigns on your behalf, we share relevant campaign data (targets, assets, budgets) with those platforms' advertising APIs. This is necessary to deliver the service you purchased.

Analytics Partners

We use third-party analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Services. These partners may receive device and usage data.

Legal Obligations

We may disclose Personal Data when required by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fans Plug, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If Fans Plug undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Aggregated or De-identified Data

We may create anonymized or aggregated data from Personal Data (removing any identifiers) and use or share it for lawful business purposes, including industry reporting and platform analytics. This data cannot be used to identify you.

SMS Data

Fans Plug does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS-related data is used solely to deliver transactional messages you have requested.

Tracking & Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies — including pixel tags, web beacons, and JavaScript — to recognize your browser, analyze usage patterns, and deliver relevant advertising. We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies — required for core platform functionality such as login and session management. Cannot be disabled without breaking the Services.
  • Functional cookies — remember your preferences and settings across sessions.
  • Analytics cookies — track how users interact with the platform so we can measure and improve performance. Includes tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Advertising cookies — collect data about your activity to serve interest-based ads and measure campaign performance across the web.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality. For more on managing cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Data Retention

We retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Retention periods are determined by the sensitivity of the data, our legal obligations, and operational necessity.

  • Account profile and credentials are retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations.
  • Campaign data is retained to support reporting, analytics, and dispute resolution.
  • Device and usage data is retained as needed for security and platform performance analysis.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal data disposal procedures.
